Tiptree Medical Centre Open Morning and Engagement Event

Saturday 25th May from 9am

 We would like to invite all our patients to attend an open morning at the practice on 25th May to give patients the opportunity to meet with Doctors and staff and allow patients the opportunity to observe what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ at the practice and understand the processes in place for providing primary care to the local community.

The practice will open to patients from 9am until 11am. Our Patient Participation Group will also be on hand to explain their involvement in the decisions made within the practice. 

From 11am the senior doctors will be holding some engagement forums. This will give an opportunity for patients to discuss the medical centre services provided and put forward any ideas and suggestions on how the practice can develop in line with a growing local population coupled with the constraints and challenges within the NHS. There will also be a question and answer session where the senior doctors will be happy to discuss any matters raised by patients

Due to limited space within the practice there will be 3 forums held during the day. If you would like to attend please speak to a member of the reception team who will discuss the times available to attend.

 

 

Surgery will be Closed:

Following a CCG directive Tiptree and other surgeries within NEE, will be closed on the following dates for staff training:

Thursday 16th May 2019 from 12 noon.

Thursday 13th June 2019 from 12 noon

Wednesday 3rd July 2019 from 12 noon

Wednesday 25th September 2019 from 12 noon

Thursday 17th October 2019 from 12 noon

Thursday 14th November 2019 from 12 noon

Wednesday 22nd January 2020 from 12 noon

Wednesday 12th February 2020 from 12 noon 

Thursday 26th March 2020 from 12 noon

The surgery will reopen again the following day at 8am.

What has recently changed at your surgery?

1. We are now are registered Parkrun practice: if you are interested in increasing your weekly exercise, ask our staff about this initiative by the RCGP.

2. We listened to your concerns and have increased the number of face to face appointments available

3. Dr Dirk Pilat has joined the surgery as a salaried GP, extending the number regular GPs.
